Hi, I'm Henry Karp, the owner of Back In The Day Collectibles. Back In The Day Collectibles sells original, vintage sports and movie memorabilia. We are a small business located in Maryland. We specialize in original linen-backed movie posters. Linen-backing is a process used to preserve historical movie art. The poster is first cleaned in water and a light amount of chemicals. After removing the poster from the water, a tool is used to work out fold lines and creases in the poster. Then the poster is adhered (a reversible process) to acid-free paper. Finally, the poster and acid free paper are adhered to a linen-backing. The result is a wonderfully vibrant and preserved item of art, which is highly-coveted by both movie and art collectors.

We have a large selection of sports memorabilia. We carry a line of baseball figurines made by Romito, Inc. These porcelain figurines of all-time great baseball players are beautifully-crafted and make a great Holiday gift. We also have a nice selection of sports cards and autographed items.

We accept Visa, Master Card, Paypal, check or money order. Please e-mail us if you would like to purchase an item by check or by money order. We would be glad to hold the item for you for a reasonable period of time. We also would like to hear from you if you believe a shipping cost is unreasonable. They are calculated automatically under YAHOO guidelines we hope are fair.

Shipping Information:

We ship UPS Ground, UPS Air, UPS International and USPS Priority Mail. Generally speaking, it is cheaper to ship lighter items, like baseball cards and autographed items, by USPS Priority Mail and, heavier items, like figurines and linen-backed posters by UPS. The buyer can select the shipping service among the services we have specified above. We typically ship within one or two days of payment. Shipping options will appear upon check-out.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies: We refund if the item is lost in shipment, damaged or otherwise is not as described on the website. If the customer believes a refund is due, we ask that he or she inform us of the issue within one week after receiving the item.
